The Pied Flycatchers return
Connecting yourself to the cycles of the seasons is a wonderful way of feeling more a part of the natural world and understanding your place within it.
Here in South Devon the male Pied Flycatchers have returned after their epic migration from Africa.
They are singing their territorial songs, defending their chosen nesting box, and hoping to attract a female. In between they are getting a taste for British food.
I wish this one all the luck in the world.
