An early morning Peregrine
I’m used to the general impression, size, and shape of a Peregrine Falcon now. That means when I saw this one perched at RSPB Otmoor I was able to identify it from the silhouette and pose straight away.
Only a few hundred other UK birds for me to be able to do the same with and I might actually have some expertise.
