Huge Heron chicks
I’ve enjoyed going to RSPB Otmoor to see the Grey Herons in the past few years.
I’ve been fascinated to see them nesting on the ground in the reeds here, as I’m used to seeing Heronries in the trees surrounding lakes and rivers.
This time I can see a huge chick, one of two in this nest.
They look hilarious.
