Curlews are such regal birds…

There’s something so dignified about a Curlew. This one is in danger, though.

Sheep’s wool caught around its feet is the danger, given all the barbed wire fences around here.

Even when they call, it’s a magnificent sound.

In flight, they’re a wonderful sight, given just how big they are:
