Fish on parade
The Arctic Terns which breed on Westray come back with a constant procession of fish and then parade them up and down the shoreline. Here’s one with a Lumpfish:
And here’s one with a Pipefish:
And here’s one with what looks like a Sandeel.
It’s a shame that there were so few surviving chicks to feed last summer.
