Taking the three kids out for dinner

I’m out at my local country park when I notice something below the bird feeder which isn’t a Grey Squirrel. It’s a Brown Rat. It looks tiny in comparison to the Squirrels:

Then an adult rat appears and I suddenly realise they are exactly the same length as the Squirrels:

Out of one of the many holes, under all the discarded seeds, climb other members of the rat family until there are three youngsters there:

It’s a full family meal out.
