Puffins on Parade

Puffins are always a pleasure to see and to photograph:

They are such elegant birds, with stunning details in their plumage:

Sometimes, however, just like the greatest stars, they can become a bit temperamental:

And sometime they’re not at their best when their make-up artist is late:

But on the whole they’re a perfect pleasure:

I’d like to photograph them every day if they didn’t live out in the middle of the North Sea for three-quarters of the year.
