Wheeling Steen

A morning trip out on [[Westray]] leads me to the Wheeling Steen gallery and tea rooms. It’s hard to believe quite how remote this spot is when you relax on the leather settee with a decaff. latte and a drop scone looking at the stunning photography whilst Enya plays from the speakers.

Edwin Rendall’s photography is steeped in love of the landscape of his ancestors and so beautifully framed that the presentation is an art in itself. Visit and enjoy; I did. In fact, I enjoyed it so much I did the whole thing again in the afternoon. It is the best latte on the Island, after all.
