Lion cub playing
Here in the Masai Mara, the Lioness is playing with one of her cubs.

She’s very patient and forgiving at the play fighting and the snarling to which she’s being subjected.

Eventually her cub will have to live a fully independent life and all her patience and teaching will become essential lifeskills.

For now, it’s all harmless play.
