A male Blackcap screaming from the treetops
Sunny intervals. Bright between light showers. I love this time of year, apart from the hay fever.
Here’s a remarkable photograph of a charming male Blackcap.

“What’s remarkable about it?” I hear you ask. It’s remarkable that, given just how much it sings, I managed to get a photograph of it with its beak closed.
Even more remarkable is that I got a second similar shot.

I’m grateful to have it as a soundtrack to accompany my sneezing.
