Tubby with a flatfish
This tubby Black Guillemot is flying back to its chick with a flatfish. The fish is probably a Norwegian Topknot, but my fish id skills are even worse than my bird id skills, so don’t take my word for it.

Black Guillemots don’t appear to be very aerodynamic, but it doesn’t seem to reduce their speed through the air. The power of those breast muscles keeps their small wings going rapidly, especially with the threat of attack from an Arctic Skua intent on robbing them of their fish.
