Ringed Plover chick

There’s a Ringed Plover chick on the rocky beach.
Charming, aren’t they? I’ve been here before to photograph them. Last year I got some distant shots of them sheltering under their parent’s breast feathers. For some reason I never posted those photographs, so I really must search them out. Maybe the weather was too dull and the iso too high and the results too full of digital noise? I’ll check and get back to you, okay?
