Treecreeper
There’s a small brown object in the distance doing what Treecreepers do. It’s too far away for me to see any details, but I know it’s a Treecreeper.
It’s flown from high in one tree down to the bottom of another tree in a glorious curve. It’s now working its way up a tree trunk in a spiral. It looks like a mouse as it climbs the tree. As I get closer I remember how much I love its stiff tail and long claws and its downwards-curving beak.
Fabulous.
