Yet more Puffins
I took so many photographs of Puffins this summer that I’ve not published even a fraction of my favourites, so here are some new ones for you:
Lovely, aren’t they? I particularly like the intense concentration in this one’s posture. Landing isn’t the easiest operation to complete successfully.
It’s fabulous to see Puffins over turquoise Orkney seas.
Landing is a high-risk operation, especially in blustery weather, and the control needed is exceptional.
