At night I dream of the Ocean

This Atlantic Puffin has come to rest on the low, grassy cliffs, where its burrow faces the North Sea. It flaps its wings, standing amongst the dried husks of Thrift flowers. It is nearly ready for another nine months adrift on the Ocean.

Tonight I will dream of Puffins, so small, and the Ocean, so immense.
