Another reason to love Dunters

Dunter is the Orcadian name for the Common Eider Duck. I find it hard to believe that Eider Ducks are still extant. We’ve ‘harvested’ and persecuted them so they are now so wary of humans that it’s difficult to photograph them.

However, if they fly past, even if they see you at the last minute, then you have a chance, and I had a chance.
