Lighthouse shadows
I had an enjoyable time flying a drone this summer. I only set it up a few times, as I had to wait until the majority of sea birds had finished nesting. I didn’t want to disturb them. Noup Head lighthouse is a fine place to see from a different angle, especially on a beautiful day:

It’s an odd feeling to see the top of it at eye level.

And sending the drone this far out to sea with a bit of wind is definitely a leap of faith.

It’s probably this one which is my favourite, though. It makes me wish that they hadn’t knocked down the lighthouse-keeper’s cottages so recently, especially since they took so much effort to build in the first place. How short sighted can you get? Especially since it’s an ideal place to have a working toilet and there isn’t one.

It also makes me chuckle that it looks, from its shadow, as if it’s wearing a condom.
