Woodlice. There are 3,500 species in the world and between 35 and 40 in the UK. They’re animals which many children know. My eldest son didn’t say a word until he was over two years old and then his first word was ‘Woodlouse’. If you’re a regular reader of this blog that may not surprise you.

I’ve had encounters with woodlice at Einar for over a decade. My early experiences led to a whole series of Top Tips:
