Not every Puffin makes it

Puffins face constant threats. There are Great Skuas overhead every day on the lookout for the weak, the old, the unwary, or simply the unlucky. There are Ravens alert to any possibility of easy pickings, or some carrion, on which to feast.

This Puffin didn’t make it.

I hope it had a full twenty-five years of life and had many Pufflings.
