Pottering Puffins
I’m pottering and decide to have a look at this summer’s Puffin portraits. There are a few I haven’t developed yet. I quite like this character:

The detail on the head plumage is astounding:

And in this light it’s a pleasure to see them throw themselves off the cliffs with a desperate flurry of wings. They save themselves from splash-landing in the sea by powering into a graceful arc as they get lift and veer off on their fishy journey.

I wish I was experiencing it now.
