Razorbills

Looking back at my photographs from 2017 I come across some which I haven’t posted. They are Razorbills.

They nest along the coast of Westray. Looking down the cliffs I spot one close by:

I love the bright yellow interior of their beaks:

They are like the cooler older brothers of Puffins with their patterned and notched bills:
