The Lesser Kestrels of Matera #4

Photography still includes the principal fields of taking and developing images; it’s just that now they are digital and the development is using software and not a physical darkroom. A visit to Matera in southern Italy meant we returned with a thousand images all of which need to be inspected, graded and then largely rejected leaving a few for development. They need a little bit of sharpness here, a little bit of lightness there and a lot of noise reduction everywhere. Here are some more of the images from a fabulous trip.
