Still sounds tame to staying in Kentucky. You stay in to hide away from the mosquitos and chiggers, and put your cup of tea down (big mistake) and it gets covered in one type of ant, and watch some British tv on your friend’s laptop, which houses another type of ant! I feel so lucky I didn’t disturb a brown recluse. Give me some good old woodlice any day.
