A troop of Anubis Baboons

It’s my last day in the Masai Mara and my last trip out in a 4×4 here. I’m about to fly back to Nairobi and then head off to the wetlands of Amboseli. I can’t wait to see what Amboseli has in store for me, but I’ll be sad to leave the people and the wildlife here.

There’s a troop of Baboons on the low branches of a dead tree. This male strikes quite a pose.

He has incredible eyes.

The youngsters are enjoying playing on the smaller branches.

Having seen the number of ground predators here, I’d stay in the trees as well.
