Sunset over Einar (again)
I’m out to see the Puffins at the Castle o’ Burrian on Westray this evening. I’m hoping to get another shot like this:

There’s also the possibility of another shot like this:
All is going well until a cloud blows over and obscures the sun. That means no sparkles. There are also few Puffins on land at this time of year and so a silhouette just isn’t possible.
Then I see it – my house, Einar, on the horizon, with the veiled sun directly above it. It takes my longest telephoto lens to capture it, but I do.

What an amazing world we live in.
And doesn’t my house have a lot of chimneys?
