Jumping pond skaters

There are Pond Skaters on Ducklington Lake. It’s a beautiful place, even if you do have to indulge in wild parking on an industrial estate, brave an unsavoury underpass under the A40 dual carriageway, and avoid your dog going in the small river which surrounds it because it’s a Thames Water sewerage outflow.

This one is making giant leaps leaving twin sets of ripples behind.
