Dacrymyces deliquescens
There’s a tiny orange fungus on this wet rotting wood. I recognise it from my childhood. It can only be Dacrymyces deliquescens.

It’s a fungus which loves fence posts, decking, log piles and rotting wood. Unlike many other fungi, it can fruit at many times of the year as long as it is wet.
It’s here thanks to a little rain.
