White-Tailed Sea Eagle

We’re on a cruise in Poole Harbour with Birds of Poole Harbour. We’re hoping to see one of the White-Tailed Eagles which roost and hunt around the harbour. Luckily, there are three birds, one adult and two juveniles sat on Keysworth. Here’s one:

We’re even witness to one flying. We can see Marsh Harriers close by and one Marsh Harrier would fit under a single wing of this bird. What a shame it was flying away from us.

A thrill to see a ‘barn door’ flying, nevertheless.
