Snow Buntings in sunshine

We have a day free to walk the length of the Lower Otter Restoration Project with Anna the dog. It’s gorgeous and, dare I say, unseasonable weather. At the end of our walk we go back to see if we can see the Snow Buntings on the beach. We can’t see them at all until we notice that they’re both feeding at our feet next to the path over the pebbles.

What beautiful weather.

I get a chance to lie on the beach and see them flit along. One flies towards me and I get a lovely in-flight shot.
