Hare’s Foot Inkcap

There’s a Hare’s Foot Inkcap, Coprinopsis lagopus, in our dog-walking field in Somerset.

I only have my phone with me, but I manage to get an impression of the delicacy of the rolled rim of the wafer-thin cap.

I really must remember to haul my camera gear with lighting system with me everywhere I go at this time of year. There are beautiful natural wonders appearing everywhere if only you look.
