A head-scratching moment
I’m watching Kittiwakes fly past Noup Head, where cliffs keep a huge breeding seabird colony relatively safe from predators. One amuses me, as I track it through my viewfinder, as it’s having a really good scratch of its head, with a foot bent forward and its head bent back.
It can’t be terribly aerodynamic like that, so it must be in dire need.
I feel itchy just looking at it.
