It’s a hazy day in Matera and the sun is already high in the sky when we see a procession of Black Kites heading over the nature reserve here in Parco Regionale della Murgia Materana.
Sadly, this is the best photograph I got of one of the passers-through, but it was a wonderful experience to see their stately procession through the reserve.
I look forward to seeing them again.
