The scolders are at it again

You may be the great Baakie, Lord of All He Surveys, largest gull in the entire world, but you’re still going to get your bum pecked by a plucky little Chaldro.

Eurasian Oystercatchers are indomitable in their breeding fields. They rise, complaining loudly, and will happily harass birds much larger than themselves.

It’s the asymmetry which amuses me.

It doesn’t amuse the gull.
