A precarious life on the edge of a precipice

Their white downy feathers are not quite as brilliant white as their parents’ adult feathers, but they’re pure and smart all the same.

It’s amusing to see how the adults guard the chicks even when they’re as big as the adults. It’s a precarious life on the edge of a precipice.

The adults are waddling, ungainly and comedic on the cliffs, but when they fly, they are a revelation.
