Air rage
Spending time in nature really helps you appreciate it. I’ve had such a great summer on the gentle hills and cliffs of Westray watching Arctic Skuas and Great Skuas.
A highlight of our day trip to Papa Westray was seeing so many Arctic Skuas, particularly the interactions between them.

These two were performing some fascinating behaviour in mid air.

I’d love to spend the entire summer in this exact spot and get to understand which individual is which, how many chicks they have and get a longer glimpse into their lives.

For now, this is all I have. It’s still magnificent to have witnessed them.
