Out of the Maelstrom

I had the most incredible day’s photography on the west coast of Westray. The sea was a raging tormented soul, with fomenting waves crashing into ancient layered rocks. Sitting on a small headland I watched as the occasional Puffin flew along the coast and waited for the perfect moment, as crashing wave, beautiful light and a flying Puffin came together.

I’m so thrilled with the image that I’ve tried all the highest quality photo labs looking for the very best reproduction of the print. There’s just one that has printed it to make it come alive and bring out all the drama of the moment.

Here it is as a HD metal print, printed on solid aluminium with ultra-gloss coating which brings out immense depth and richness to the scene:

I’ve been running this blog and sharing my life, my stories and my photographs without ever once offering a photograph for sale. Finally, I’m happy with the photographs I’m producing and would love to share them with you.
