Ravens and rocks
The west coast of Westray has some of the best walking in the islands.

There are fossilised remains of ripples on the beaches and rivers of Lake Orcadie from 383 to 393 million years ago everywhere I look.

They are a constant source of wonder and fascination to me:
There’s always something to delight and surprise you here.

This Raven flying over with its huge beak and splayed tail was a lovely sight to be close to:
