Black Tailed Skimmers

I can see a pair of dragonflies. They’re Black Tailed Skimmers, Orthetrum cancellatum, in tandem in beautiful weather.

The male has that bluish blush and is grasping the female by the back of the neck with the end of his abdomen.

They make a beautiful couple.
