Huge bird up a tree
We’re cycling early in the morning in South Devon when I spot a huge bird in the top of a tree. It can only be a Buzzard. They like to perch along this road in the hope of some roadkill from the passing cars. Some hope. There are precious few cars out at the moment.

As we get closer I realise it’s not a Buzzard, it’s even bigger. It’s a Peafowl:

It looks utterly ridiculous here.
A Peahen in the middle of the Devon countryside. I’d rather have a Buzzard.
