The Pigeon bath
The Feral Pigeons are having a bath.

They’re bathing communally.

It looks like me getting in the sea, when the water’s just about to touch my belly button and I’m feeling a little squeamish about the cold.
They look magnificent as they fly over:

This one is about to land and join the rest in a bit of refreshing water-based pest removal:

It’s too close to fit in my viewfinder.

Its undercarriage in still in ‘perch’ position. And those tail fathers are looking a little worn.

A bath is just what it needs.
