When the Kingfisher paid a visit
There’s a female Kingfisher on a nearby branch. I can tell it’s a female because, as they say, “It’s wearing lipstick.” Female Kingfishers have red on their lower beak, while males have all black beaks.

It’s looking at the water, waiting for its next meal to arrive:

It’s probably the same bird which has been diving here repeatedly. After two days of trying, sitting in a wooden shed, I managed to get these photographs:

And it’s probably the same one I photographed before and after fish:

She’s a star.
