When it’s summer and you still have the winter duvet on

I have a 13.5 Tog duvet on my bed. It’s June. Maybe I should change it.

I think perhaps the same thoughts are going through the mind of this House Sparrow, Passer domesticus in the searing heat of Eastbourne in June:

Yes, it’s Summer and it’s hot.

The Sparrow is hidden with wonderful camouflage beside the brilliant pink Valerian:

It looks hot too:

At least there are some tasty Greenfly to quench your thirst when it gets too much, each one like a refreshing little green drop.It’s a shame when some escape your clutches and decide to walk all over your bill though:

I really must change that duvet when I get home. And buy some serviettes.
