Great White Egret
The Italians call Great White Egrets L’airone bianco maggiore. This sign tells us what we should be looking for: a large heron with a yellow bill and black feet.

As opposed to a Little Egret which is a small heron with a black bill and striking yellow feet.
I can see one flying past the Flamingoes.
