The plane arrives at Westray airfield

We’re sitting in the waiting room at Westray Airfield. I was tempted to say Airport rather than Airfield, but I’m not sure that the building qualifies it as an airport. According to Loganair you need to be there a full ten minutes before the flight.

A couple of tourists arrive ready for the two-minute scheduled flight to Papa Westray and say “Is this where we check in?” I say, “You just have done,” and they smile, still unsure.
