The remains of a meal

There’s a Common Buzzard on the banks of the River Dart. We’re enjoying great views of it from the small boat due to the keen eyesight of Mike Langman. Either that or he has very special binoculars. Actually, it could be both.

I’m not sure whether it’s been hunting or simply scavenging. It doesn’t look as if there is much left of the meal, whichever it is.

As someone who likes to leave a clean plate, I admire it. I think I’d leave the feathers, too.
