Grass trails

I love seeing the fields when they’re cut for hay or silage, especially when they’re undulating.

This one has Oystercatchers, Curlew and a Common Gull in it. This year it’s been so dry earlier in the year that everywhere is parched and the farmers seem to be cutting later than usual. That’s come at a good time for wading birds foraging for their chicks. I’m hopeful for a good Curley breeding year.
