Bristletails again

It’s time for me to pop to one of my ‘range of useful outbuildings’ here at Einar to see whether I can get a decent Bristletail photograph while it sits on an unused slate.

That’s okay. At least the eyes and the scales are reasonably in focus.

What I should do, if I wanted a truly excellent image, is to catch one, refrigerate it, take it into an indoor studio-setup with artificial light and then take multiple exposures and stack them together using the in-focus bits of each.

My problem is I just want to leave it here to live its best life. Am I wrong?
