Run Rabbit
On Papa Westray Rabbits were said to outnumber residents by five hundred to one. I’m not convinced that they exist in the same proportion here on Westray, although they have become a pest in some places, seemingly leading to the erosion of massive areas of dunes at Mae Sands.
There is a Rabbit in my garden this morning.
It’s seen me and hunkered down. Surely it knows I’ve seen it?
