Lyme Bay Common Cormorants

We’re on the water guided by Mike Langman again. It’s a great opportunity to see Common Cormorants, Phalacrocorax carbo, from the sea, as we cruise Lyme Bay from Kingswear to Brixham.
The juveniles and immatures have the most gorgeous white fronts.

And when the adults land they make quite a splash.

If I only could I’d be out here every week. It’s glorious.
