Chiffing and chaffing

A trip to RSPB Lodmoor in Weymouth revealed scrubby field edges, hedgerows and brambles full of Chiffchaffs. They were active in the intermittent sunshine, catching their invisible-to-us insect prey with faster-than-we-can-see acrobatics.

Charming, aren’t they?

Soup in my van. Hot coffee. Sunset over the marshes. A great day.
